Trump Raises Over $4 MILLION for Hurricane Victims

Date:

Trump’s Comprehensive Fundraising Effort

Former President Donald Trump spearheaded a GoFundMe campaign, which quickly raised over $4 million for Hurricane Helene victims.

Meanwhile, the Democrats have raised exactly…nothing. And Biden said FEMA can’t afford to do any more because they’ve run out of money after helping the illegals.

Yes, really.

Trump’s initiative exemplifies a powerful grassroots effort led by Meredith O’Rourke, Trump’s campaign finance director. Aimed at engaging his expansive MAGA supporter base, the campaign promised that all donations would be directed toward the most affected individuals by the storm. Trump’s involvement and on-ground visits to disaster-stricken areas have fostered a movement that combines financial support with physical presence.

Prominent figures like Florida Sen. Rick Scott, musician Kid Rock, and UFC President Dana White each backed the campaign with $50,000 contributions. Steve Witkoff, a real estate developer, emerged as the largest individual donor, contributing $500,000. These endorsements bring significant attention and resources to the relief efforts, highlighting the potential of organized fundraising in addressing natural disasters’ impact.

Efforts on the Federal Front

President Joe Biden’s administration has responded with federal measures, deploying thousands of active-duty soldiers and unlocking over $10 million in individual assistance. Disaster declarations in the affected states ensure the flow of federal resources to facilitate recovery efforts. FEMA has also been actively involved, rescuing and assisting around 1,400 individuals, showcasing a coordinated response across federal and local levels.

Biden visited the affected areas, although he faced some criticism for allegedly delaying his visit. The White House clarified that Biden aims to minimize disruption during the initial recovery phases, underscoring federal commitment regardless of political or regional affiliations. This comprehensive federal effort provides sustained support as communities work toward rebuilding their lives post-Hurricane Helene.

Trump has raised just about half the amount Joe Biden was able to give from the WHITE HOUSE. And if we give him a few more weeks, he might end up raising more.
